1984 Project References for AP Lit

Hey there, my dear droogs! I decided to start on this here project and dabbled a little in the dark arts of helping y'all out. So, I collected a bunch of reference materials that will be very useful for answering any of the questions that you may possibly wish to answer. All of the documents below have either the site linked or typed up in them. Just look below for more information:

Politics and the English Language:
Orwell's own essay about the deterioration of the English language. Perfect for answering any Newspeak question.

Sex in 1984:
Orwell's position on sex in 1984 is analyzed from a Catholic point of view. An original way of tackling the issue.

No One Died in Tienanmen Square:
A piece that would go well with discussing politics and mind control techniques in 1984.

The Proles:
A paper talking about the position of the proles in the novel. Quite handy for answering the "compare lifestyles" question.

The Road to 1984:
A general overview of the entire novel that can be used for any part, really. Quite long, but very interesting.
